It was a great first day at the big show . I made some really good connections , and met some great people . I saw my friend Les Johnson , from the tv show Predator Quest , and had a great visit ,at the Bushnell booth. I will hunt spring Turkey with him ,in late April. in Kansas. We also talked, about me appearing, as a guest chef on his show ,a couple of times this season , to mix it up a little bit. I also visited with Jim Shockey , a world renowned hunter , about a guest chef spot, at one of his bush camps,, in Canada. Gary Lewis was also there , and we visited a bit in the Press room, about a good friend ,of us both, that had passed away overnight, in our home town. Being at a show of this size , is a shock to the senses, about how big the Outdoor Industry really is.Tomorrow will be even better , so I will keep at it , for 3 more days. This is an International show , so as you walk around, you hear , and meet people from all over the world .
